The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education
The G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education is the school responsible for continuing education within Ryerson University in Toronto. The Chang School is Canada’s foremost provider of university-based adult education, with approximately 70,000 enrollments each year.[1] The Chang School's offerings include the following:
- 83 certificate programs[2], 15 of which are available entirely at a distance[3]
- Courses toward 13 part-time degree programs[4]
- More than 1,400 courses, seminars, and workshops[5], including almost 400 delivered via distance education[6]
- Courses towards accreditation by 13 professional institutes and associations[7]
The Chang School's programming is available on campus, via distance education, and off-site for employee groups.
The school is named for G. Raymond Chang, third chancellor of Ryerson University and Director of CI Financial. The Chang School's offices are located in Heaslip House on the Ryerson University campus.
A leader in online learning, The Chang School's Digital Education Strategies unit has been recognized with awards from the National University Telecommunications Network, the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education, the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education, and the Canadian Society for Training and Development.
